Was der Röster sagt

Lalesa Black Honey, our newest Ethiopian filter coffee. Bold, sweet and vibrant, when cupping this coffee reminded us of Malbec, Cream Soda & Violet. We love the intense, abundant bright fruit flavours and delicate aromatics that Ethiopian coffee is known for (especially their heirloom coffees). These heirloom coffees are indigenous varieties, grown with minimal intervention and are sought after for their rich flavours. In our Lalesa, they contrast beautifully with the character provided by the Black Honey fermentation process used after harvest. A careful process that enhances the sweetness of the coffee and adds a rich, wine-like quality to the flavour profile along with a clean, bright finish. This coffee comes to us from Ephtah Speciality Coffee. Founded by Wubit Bekele, Ephtah is focused on sustainability and creating a collaborative supply chain while also being female founded and focused. If you like your filter coffee to have a bold, fruit forward character this is definitely one to check out.
