Product Description Producer Doyo Cooperative (around 430 smallholder farmers) Farm/Mill Doyo Washing Station Location Mana District, Jimma Zone, Oromia, Western Ethiopia Altitude 1,800 - 2,100 masl Process Washed Cultivar Ethiopian Heirloom Harvest Late 2025 Expect notes of Satsuma, Black Tea, Sultana Coffee Story This crisp Ethiopian washed comes from the Doyo Cooperative, a community of around 430 smallholder farmers in the Mana district of Jimma, Western Ethiopia. Working under the Oromia Coffee Farmers Cooperative Union, one of the country's largest organic and Fairtrade producers, Doyo's growers tend small organic plots high in the hills, often alongside maize, teff and bananas. Grown between 1,800 and 2,100 metres on a mix of heirloom varieties and washed at the cooperative's own station, the result lands bright and tea-like in the cup: a clean, juicy flavour of satsuma, the structure of black tea, and soft sultana sweetness on the finish. Roast type We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup. COFFEE EXPERIENCES VIBRANT & BRIGHT: A sweet, punchy and intense reminder that coffee is a fruit.
