Was der Röster sagt

Fun is the highlight of our offering. These are the best coffees that farmers produce on their farms. This geisha from Alasitas farm was processed using the combination of fully washed processing with anaerobic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. In the cup, expect an explosion of flavor: juicy notes of yellow fruit, a creamy body, and an elegant floral finish. A coffee that’s as exciting as it is delicious. Fun - the crème de la crème Fun is the pinnacle of our offering. These are the best coffees that farmers produce on their farms, featuring exclusive varieties or experimental processes. Flavor-wise, they offer unique experiences for an extraordinary taste journey. Fun are the coffees that simply delight. Fun is best enjoyed as filtered coffee, where the flavor profile of the coffee fully unfolds. How does it taste Yara selected this coffee during his visit in Bolivia last September. It was one of the highest scored coffee of all samples tasted (88,75 points). The intensity of flavors (yellow fruits, citruses) given by the geisha variety and thick, juicy mouthfeel, caused by natural processing with prolonged fermentation in stainless steel tanks, was truly exceptional. Rodriguez family - pioneers of specialty coffee in Bolivia This coffee comes from the Las Alasitas farm situated at the altitude of 1600 masl. The farm is run by the Rodriguez family. Their company Agricafe is trying to bring specialty coffee back to the country. They support a lot of farms around in order to replace coca farming. The Alasitas farm (which means "buy me" in the aboriginal language) is quite young. The family bought 20ha of land in 2014 in Caranavi region. Where they managed to build a processing station and a modern farm. They grow varieties of caturra, java and geisha. Geisha This geisha was processed using the natural method with prolonged anaerobic fermentation in stainless steel tanks. After picking, the cherries were first washed and floated, then left in stainless steel tanks without access to oxygen for approx. 48 hours. Afterwards, they were dried for 30 hours in special hot air dryers at a temperature of 40°C to a final moisture content of 11 %. This drying system is advantageous mainly because of the controlled environment and the possibility to influence the resulting taste by the speed of the drying time. The Rodriguez family uses industrial dehydrators manufactured for fruit industry. The best way to nejoy this coffee is with V60.
