Was der Röster sagt

Washed Heirloom Yirgacheffe, Ethiopia When chatting with Faysel Abdosh, it became clear that he founded Testi Coffee with one goal in mind: specialty coffee exclusively. That’s the coffee he liked to drink, so that’s the coffee he wanted to produce. Over the years, this unrelenting pursuit of quality has resulted in some of our favorite expressions of Ethiopian coffee. Beyond just cup quality, Faysel is committed to projects that improve the lives of the people he works with. Through Testi Coffee’s Project Direct, Faysel and his family have led the construction of water points, classroom buildings, electricity access, and women’s health facilities across several coffee communities. Their approach sees coffee as a tool for development, not just trade. For us, working with Testi means supporting that vision and building a more sustainable, transparent supply chain rooted in mutual respect. Aricha is one of the most respected woredas in Ethiopia, and visiting Adorsi, one of Testi’s mills in this region, brings that reputation into focus. Season after season, coffees from this area have consistently delivered depth, clarity, and sweetness. The village sits tucked into the mountains of Gedeo, where the pace is unhurried and the work is rooted in tradition and community. In recent years, changes in Ethiopia’s coffee system have made it easier to trace where quality truly comes from, and Adorsi continues to stand out. The character in this coffee reflects the care behind it and the promise of what’s still ahead. Flavor Notes: Peach Nectar, Strawberry, Citrus Zest Brewing Tips: Coming Soon
