Was der Röster sagt

A punchy, natural-process Ethiopian with lots of blackberry jam and tropical fruit notes. Lemonade sweetness and a long, lingering finish. This coffee is perfect for pour-over methods or a very bright espresso. We Taste: Blackberry, Tropical Fruits, Milk Chocolate Region: Bensa-Huro Tibro, Sidama, Ethiopia Altitude: 1,950 – 1,990 m.a.s.l Varieties: 74/112, 74/110 Processing: Natural (sun-dried) Sourced: Solomon Hameso Boku, Primavera Importers This lot comes from Solomon Hameso Boku, a first-generation coffee producer and processor based in the Sidama region. Solomon bought his farm in 2017 and now works with around 200 people delivering cherry from the region. He operates multiple dry processing sites and is committed to organic farming practices, with thick compost layers supporting a mix of established and newly planted coffee trees. Solomon's contributions extend beyond coffee—he has created job opportunities for over 24 women at his processing site and farm, while providing financial support to elderly community members and supplying young coffee plants to local farmers. Ripe cherries are hand-sorted and dried on raised beds before being stored as jemfel and hulled onsite.
