Was der Röster sagt
Shantawene is located in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, known for its complex, floral and fruit-forward coffees. The diversity of micro-regions and heirloom varietals in Ethiopia provide such a wide flavour potential from one country, and this coffee is the perfect example of this. This lot goes through a lesser-seen method in Ethiopia, being an Anaerobic Naturally processed coffee, where ripe coffee cherries are placed in sealed, oxygen-free tanks to ferment in a controlled environment. The cherries are then dried on raised African beds, this is where the fermentation creates bright, fruity character in the final cup.Shantawene is located in the Sidama region of Ethiopia, known for its complex, floral and fruit-forward coffees.
