The production quality is off the charts. FLAVOR NOTES: TBD but expect something similar to: Chocolate, hazelnut, lemon zest The return of our beloved old favorite! The green coffee arrives Sept 11 and we will immediately complete test roasts. We will cup and tune the following week and then release on the 21st. Our label might not arrive at that moment so the first few days may have a super boring thermal label instead of the beautiful artwork. We 100% expect that this coffee will be exceptional and cannot wait. If you need the art, check back here as I’ll update the moment our proper labels arrive. Here’s what’s going on. The producers are asking for an early commitment at a specified price and we’ve agreed to lock in on 15 bags/2265 pounds. This helps the farmers and that’s really the whole point of Trailhead. We’re doing it and I am personally excited to know that midsummer (not Midsommar mind…that’s frightening) we will be seeing our beloved coffee back in house. If you’ve never tried this coffee, go write on your kitchen calendar “Buy Trailhead’s Catracha” on the August page. This coffee offers an unusually smooth and pleasurable cup. Our ethics are all about supporting women, families and communities. This coffee does all three and tastes amazing while doing it.
