O que a marca diz

PROFILE: Radiant and DelicateWITH NOTES OF Apricot, Lime, PomegranateROAST: Light Roast For Filter Brewing Download the Santa Lucia, Honduras Transparency Report ABOUT Finca Santa Lucia came to life in 2016. The farm itself was close to abandoned, yet still had enough infrastructure for coffee cultivation. From the beginning, the vision was to grow only unique or heirloom varietals — a vision now fully realised, with Santa Lucia cultivating Laurina, Java, Orange and Yellow Bourbon, Yellow Pacamara, Ethiosar, SL-28, and Gesha. Seven Seeds has a special connection to Santa Lucia, with co-owner Mark helping to purchase and establish the farm, giving our roasters access to some incredibly rare lots over the past six years. In 2024, co-owner Mark and Head Roaster Ryan had the privilege of visiting Santa Lucia, meeting the Fincas Mierisch team, and planning a shared future for coffee. It is rare to have such a direct relationship, and it allows for a true farm-to-cup experience. The Gesha trees at Santa Lucia have a storied history. The family originally purchased Gesha seeds from Francisco Serracin of Don Pachi Estate in Panama. Don Francisco’s father is credited with being the first producer to introduce Gesha into Panama from Costa Rica. The varietal was first planted at Finca Santa Lucia in 2014 and quickly gained international attention and acclaim. It went on to win the Honduras Cup of Excellence in both 2019 and 2021, and placed second in 2022 with a combined lot of Gesha and Yellow Pacamara. This particular lot is seriously delicious — a fantastic reflection of an inspirational coffee farm. It leans into the well-known floral notes of the Gesha tree while staying true to the punchy tropical character of the Honduran terroir.
