O que a marca diz

If you like a hit of fruit in your filter coffee, you'll want to check out our new Mwirua Getuya AB. When cupping this coffee, we got heaps of blackberries, blueberries and brown sugar on the palate. Bright, sweet and fruity, with a clean finish, this has all the character we love and look for in our Kenyan filter coffees. Our Mwirua Getuya AB comes from Kirinyaga County in Kenya and is the end result of the collective efforts of both the the Mwirua Farmers' Cooperative Society and the many farmsteads that make up its ranks. Since 1954, the cooperative has been built on the ethos and practice of offering even the smallest producers support and opportunity. They provide access to market, quality control, agricultural education and a higher level of processing than what would be available to many of the farmers they work with. Through their shared processing and infrastructure, operational costs are kept lower for members and the return after coffee has been sold is more favourable. At the core, by overseeing that high quality is maintained from the roots to the route to market, the co-op works to ensure that the reputation of coffee from Kirinyaga County is the best it can be. The work pays off and you'll see that in our Mwirua Getuya AB. Picked by Roasted Brown and roasted specifically for filter brewing, this is a stunning example of that vibrant, fruit forward character we love about washed Kenyan coffees. ** COFFEE INFO** Taste notes: Blackcurrant, Blueberry and Brown Sugar Producer: Mwirua Farmers' Cooperative Society Varietals: Ruiru 11, Batian, SL-28, SL-34 Process: Washed MASL: 1,400 - 1,600 (Metres Above Sea Level) Sold Out? Next batch available from next Friday.
