O que a marca diz

We’re excited to welcome coffee from the Bella Vista community in Chiapas, Mexico back to our lineup. For six years, we’ve had the privilege of building a relationship with Rosalba Cifuentes and the producers of Bella Vista. Over that time, something meaningful has happened: as the quality of their coffees has continued to grow, so has our ability to purchase more. And that growth is made possible, in part, by our customers—people who have continued to choose and enjoy these coffees, creating the demand that allows us to deepen our commitment to this community. In 2025, we had the honor of visiting Bella Vista ourselves. Tucked into the mountains of Chiapas near the Guatemalan border, the community sits around 1,500 meters above sea level, with farms reaching as high as 1,800 meters. We met the people behind the coffees we had known for years and experienced firsthand the warmth, hospitality, and incredible work that goes into every harvest. Bella Vista is a remarkable place to grow coffee. Its altitude, rich soils, skilled processing, and meticulous attention to detail come together to produce coffees that are distinctive and consistently improving. This community is working to make a living from coffee alone, but doing so is not easy. There is only one harvest each year. Roads into the community can be difficult and, at times, inaccessible to trucks. And the community has had to navigate the uncertainty and danger of cartel activity returning to the area. That makes every harvest precious. And somehow, year after year, the quality keeps getting better. This year marks an important milestone in our relationship: for the first time, we were able to purchase an entire container of coffee from Bella Vista. That volume represents more than a larger purchase. It represents six years of trust, consistency, shared commitment, and—most importantly—the reverberations of our customers’ choices back to the people who grow our coffee. We’re bringing you three coffees from this relationship: the Bella Vista Community Lot, the Bella Vista Women’s Lot, and the Cifuentes Family Lot. The Community Lot is a beautiful expression of what Bella Vista does so well, with notes of sweet cinnamon, fudge, and a creamy, full body. It’s an exceptionally versatile coffee and shines as espresso, French press, or batch brew. Recommended Brewing Parameters: Espresso: 1:2.0 (17.5-18g in, 35-36g out, 25-28 seconds) Filter: 1:16 Batch Brew: 1:16 *If you would like this coffee ground, please specify brew method in comments.
