O que a marca diz
Product Description Producer Jairo Arcila & Chirinos Farm/Mill Smallholders Central Kenya & Santa Monica Cultivar Mixed Process Washed (Kenya) & Co-fermented (Colombia) Location Central Kenya, around Mount Kenya & Armenia, Quindío, Colombia Altitude 1,550 - 2,000 masl Expect notes of Watermelon, Citrus, Vanilla Recommended for all brew methods. Coffee Story As the lightest and brightest blend on our menu, Fruitopia is designed to be anything but traditional. In partnership with our good friends at Cofinet, we keep this blend dynamic by rotating the components based on the freshest harvests. Every iteration includes a co-fermented coffee, meaning the cherries were fermented alongside actual fruit to unlock incredible fruitiness and depth. This time it's Jairo Arcila's Watermelon co-ferment from Colombia (20%), paired with our Washed Kenya Adumu (80%). The Kenya brings the structure, juicy acidity and a vanilla finish, while the co-ferment layers on ripe, refreshing watermelon. Bright, fruity, and absolutely delicious. Roast type We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup. COFFEE EXPERIENCES Learn More SUBSCRIBE & SAVE Coffee however you choose. Available in 250g or 1kg bags. We pay over twice the fair trade price for our coffee, then give back by contributing to a number of international initiatives – not to mention by planting trees to ensure we soak up more carbon than we produce. Learn more about how we give back, and download our inaugural impact report, here. NOTES All of our coffees are tested weekly by our professional tasters to ensure quality and delicious flavour. They’re our Quality Control team, and they taste, evaluate, and refine every single one of our coffees, every single day. Our coffee is roasted and packaged in state-of-the-art nitrogen gas-flushed bags, to help keep it at peak quality for over a month. Your coffee order will come from the freshest possible roast, and will always have weeks’ worth of peak freshness left in it. We dispatch Monday to Friday from our roastery.
