O que a marca diz

Origin: Brazil Producer: Julio Cesar Ferreira Farm: Fortaleza Region: Minas Gerais Varieties: Catuai Process: Natural Altitude: 1200 m.a.s.l. Flavour Profile: Dark chocolate, Hazelnut & Honeycomb For Júlio César Ferreira, coffee is not just a business, it is a legacy. Since he was 17, he has dedicated his days to coffee growing, continuing the work started by his grandfather and father. Today, he commands Sítio Fortaleza, a 10-hectare property that is located in the district of Ferreiras, city of São Gonçalo do Sapucaí, in the heart of Mantiqueira de Minas. The crops grow at an average altitude of 1200 meters, focused on the Catuaí 144 and Mundo Novo varieties. The harvest is 100% manual because the mountains do not allow machine access. The processing is natural and naturally fermented. His dedicated work was recognized in the BSCA competition in 2021, where it was among the 20 best coffees in Brazil and in 2025 won 4th place in the quality contest of the Coopervass, natural category. In 2025 Julio decided to collaborate with his nephew Augusto Borges, who started to export, focusing on Speciality Coffee. Augusto's connection to the market allowed Julio to sell his coffee at a better price and directly with trusted partners.
