## O que a marca diz

> Variety: Gesha Region: Huila, Colombia Altitude: 1900 Meters Process: Washed Harvest: December 2025 Notes: Peaches, Grapes, Agave This is a big and syrupy Gesha from one of the best in the coffee growing game. Francy Morales has yet again produced a stunning Gesha this season with notes of bright peach, sparkling grapes & stone fruit. This coffee has a full and glossy feel, gliding with a fragrant finish of nectarous florals. Francy's Gesha has a sugary-preserve-like sweetness & a light accent of citrus. The florals and tart fruit are more forward presenting at cooler stages. This is a super showcase of high quality Colombian Gesha. Francy Leonor Marín Morales has been cultivating coffee for seven years. Alongside her husband Gilberto, Francy grows the Pink Bourbon and Gesha varieties on two hectares at her fincas La Montañita and Villa Sofia, located in the vereda of El Palmar, in the municipality of San Agustín. Besides coffee, Francy grows yucca and avocado. Both Francy and Gilberto come from coffee-growing families. They have four children, three daughters and one son. The couple carries out all required year-round farm chores themselves, and they hire three local pickers to help with the careful and tedious hand-selection of the cherries during the height of the harvest. Main Harvest occurs from October-December, with a smaller fly crop called mitaca in May-June. Her coffees have placed in the top 5 in their region at two Copa de Oros, an annual-regional cup competition. Francy took the first place all around winning spot with her washed Pink Bourbon in the 2024 Copa de Oro, and she's the first ever woman to win the grand prize at this competition. This washed Gesha was fermented in cherry for ~24 to 30 hours, then depulped and then dry-fermented in a wooden tank for another 24 to 30 hours, then dried in a shaded patio with raised beds for 20 to 25 days. The Gesha variety originally comes from the Ethiopian Gesha coffee forests and has been popularized by Panamanian coffee farms. Over the years, this coffee has moved about nurseries and has altered it's genetic makeup with each new place it crops up. This variety has been celebrated as one of the world's most prized coffee varieties. Gesha is an heirloom variety that has varying results from region to region. Although it can be difficult to successfully grow and harvest, the cup quality can be outstanding.
