O que a marca diz

Vibrant grapefruit, lemon and marzipan. Kati means ‘middle’ in Swahili and is doubled here to emphasise this awesome lot coming to us from Central Kenya. The Rungeto Co-op produces amazing coffees year after year, and this one is no different, receiving the highest price offer in five years on the Nairobi Coffee Exchange. Kii Factory, alongside the Rungeto Farmers Cooperative Society, has been building its strong reputation for quality since 1953, and we strongly believe that some of the best lots in the Kirinyaga region can be found at this factory. Grown and harvested in the foothills of Mount Kenya, this perfect growing environment allows the SL28 and SL34 varietals to flourish and develop into an excellent final product. Our in-country partners, Vava Coffee, were excited to make this new connection with the Rungeto Farmers’ Co-op after the famous Ngiriama Co-op joined forces with the Kiangoi, Karimikui and Kii factories. The lots typically burst with fruit flavours and complex acidity. The cup profile is defined by a vibrant grapefruit, lemon and marzipan.
