O que a marca diz
Description Arsosala is a washing station in the Uraga district, established in 2015. It works with smallholder producers who cultivate coffee on small plots, often alongside other crops, and deliver ripe cherries to the station throughout the harvest season. After sorting, cherries are pulped on the day of delivery and fermented overnight before being washed and dried on raised beds. Depending on the weather, drying generally takes between 8 and 20 days, with the parchment regularly turned to ensure even drying. Coffee production in the region is typically low-input, with many farmers relying on organic matter and traditional cultivation practices rather than routinely using synthetic fertilisers or pesticides. Most work, including harvesting, is done by hand.
