O que a marca diz

Origin: Hada Molecha, Aricha Gedeo Process: Washed Variety: Heirloom Sourced by: Catalyst Trade When I’m buying coffees for Botz, I almost exclusively cup alone. Thankfully due to fortuitous circumstances and schedules, I was finally able to recruit my best friend, Botz super fan, and sister, Elena, to try some samples with me to see what Botz beans may be a good fit. Truth be told, my sister has been forced eternally to try many outstanding beans, so her taste buds are rather strong and focused on lovely coffees. Personally, I was quite interested to see how we would calibrate or not while cupping through a table of fifteen coffees. After silently sipping through samples and giggling about the sheer seriousness of cupping, we both came together to focus on what coffees made strong impressions. Along with two other coffees (currently on a boat headed our way hehe!), Hada Molecha had us both mesmerized by its lovely floral character and nuanced citric flavors. It reminded me of drinking lavender (a Danny-Elena prized flavor) lemonades and zesting oranges for my sister’s famous burnt Basque cheesecake. Usually, a coffee zooms me back into my past to relive my most precious flavor moments. This time, however, as I stood in 1908 Clark Street, I felt an intense desire in the present to share a coffee that represented all the support I’ve received over the years from my big sis. Weirdly and honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever tasted a coffee that represents her flavor preferences more than Hada Molecha. Luckily for you, her taste is rather refined and experiential. Enjoy this rare bro-sis Botz curated coffee! ***Please note that coffee orders are roasted, processed, and shipped on Wednesdays. The cutoff for orders is 12:00 pm each Tuesday.***
