Ce que dit la marque

This is coffee that tastes like "coffee." Bold, punchy, and roast-forward flavors. Big-time bittersweet chocolate, cacao nibs, and spices in the cup. This makes for a good espresso, particularly with relatively inexpensive grinders and/or espresso machines.

If you’re looking for that traditional coffee taste, then this roast is for you. These flavors evoke that typical “coffee” flavor we all love–bold, punchy, and roast-forward flavors with delicious notes of bittersweet chocolate, cacao nibs, and spices in the cup. It’s excellent as an espresso (particularly with relatively inexpensive grinders and/or espresso machines!), moka pots, French Presses, automatic drip brewers… you get the idea! Splash some milk (or alt) for an even better taste.

We recommend brewing this coffee with slightly cooler water (perhaps 190 degrees F), a coarser grind, and a stronger brew ratio than we recommend for almost all of our other coffees (more like 15:1 or 16:1 for drip, or 1:1.5 to 1:2 for espresso).

Note: Constituent coffee origins are subject to change due to season and crop availability. We'll do our best to update this page with blend changes. The overall flavor profile will remain very nearly the same at all times.
