Espresso for commercial and home espresso. Our classic espresso works nicely as a straight shot and also shines in milk-based drinks like lattes and cappuccino's.

Need an espresso for everyday that isn’t finicky or too bright or too dark, go for our Classic Espresso.

FLAVOR NOTES: Almonds, Chocolate, Bright

A blend of coffees that is constantly being tested on our in-house espresso machine and a staple in many of our partner cafés. We blend a natural process Brazil from our favorite coffee farmer who we’ve known forever and a washed Guatemala from an ethical importer we’ve known even longer. A really solid and forgiving espresso. Perfect as a straight espresso/italiano and a fabulous base for a gorgeous cappuccino.

Our preferred espresso extraction ratio is 2:1

A staple espresso in many of our commercial accounts. It does super well in home espresso equipment as it is not terribly finicky like some espressos can be. Superb in all milk based drinks as well.

CLASSIC ESPRESSO BREW RECIPE

20g, 201F water, target 25 seconds for a ristretto 2oz including cream or 1.5 oz liquid espresso.

We get excellent results using a naked filter, ikape puck screen, pin distribution tool and a manual tamp.
