Tasting notes Cacao nibs, orange & almonds Region Armenia, Quindio Farmer Carlos Arcila Altitude 1.350 – 1.400 meter Variety Caturra Process washed * * * About this coffee Casa is the newest addition to our year-round line. Think of it as the Colombian version of our Brazilian Dulce. The epitome of a comfort cup. Extremely balanced, with high sweetness and low, yet citric, acidity. We have teamed up with Cofinet to offer a selection of their coffees with such a taste profile, so freshness is assured. Roasted with espresso in mind, but usable as a heavy filter coffee. The current lot was produced by Carlos Arcila. This coffee is harvested following strict ripeness criteria, floated, and hand-sorted to remove any defects. Cherries were then exposed to 30 hours of underwater fermentation before being pulped. The parchment was then gently washed and dried in temperature-controlled conditions until the ideal moisture content was achieved. This microlot is 100% Caturra. This variety originated in Minas Gerais, Brazil. It is a natural mutation of Red Bourbon. Caturra produces more coffee and is more resistant to plant diseases than Bourbon. You can expect notes of cacao nibs, orange, and almonds. * * * All our coffees are roasted fresh every week. After your order, the coffee will be ready for shipping or pick up after 2 – 3 working days. Shipping pick up at roastery: free within Netherlands: € 4,95 -> orders above 50 euro: free shipping EU shipping: from € 8,00 depending on destination, weight and order quantity. We offer all our coffees in beans, because they stay fresh for much longer than pre-ground coffee. If you’d like to have your coffee ground, please indicate in the notes. Import Bean
