Ce que dit la marque

History This washed Caturra is produced by smallholder families of the Indigenous Inga community of Aponte, Nariño, at approximately 2,150 meters above sea level. The high-altitude environment, cool temperatures, and mineral-rich volcanic soils support slow cherry maturation, healthy cultivation, and exceptionally sweet, complex coffees. Expect notes of brown sugar, yellow plum and apple. Through the transition from illicit crops to specialty coffee, the community has strengthened sustainable land use, restored agricultural landscapes, and created new economic opportunities while preserving ancestral lands and biodiversity. Specialty coffee has become an important source of sustainable income, supporting Indigenous self-determination, cultural heritage, and long-term resilience for the Inga community. Our relationship with Aponte spans five years since 2021, building on Ally Coffee’s partnership with the community since 2015 to provide reliable market access and support continued investment in quality and sustainable production.
