Ce que dit la marque
Bright and Nuanced SL9 Gesha Inca) variety from Eulogio Chipao with perfumed florals, tangerines, peach and lingering sweetness. Delicate and juicy with layered complexity. This rare variety is known for its complex flavors and exceptional cup quality. Filter coffee:Bright and sweet with peach iced tea, fresh tropical fruits, perfumed floral notes and soft sweetness. The Producer:Eulogio Chipao has always been an active member in his local community of Pacayamba. He served as the president of the Incahuasi Cooperative for three years from 2018 to 2021, in which role he represented the farmers, observing the quality management, tracking the volumes of coffee produced and tracing the payments made back to the farmers ensuring their fair share of the FOB. The name of Eulogio's farm translates to - Don't forget me, referring to the variety SL9, known more commonly in the area as Geisha Inca. The variety was widely forgotten and neglected for a long time due to their low yield, but now with more experienced quality management are producing excellent results in cup quality. The variety's genetics are still to be determined, but it's most likely an Ethiopian heirloom variety mutated in the district for decades. All producers in the Incahuasi Cooperative follow the shared methods of agroforestry. The coop provides agronomists in the field to consult with the farmers as well as providing knowledge and support on utilising organic compost and fertilisation. Many farmers separate their coffee plantations from their other agricultural production planting only indigenous species of shade trees in between the coffee plants. This helps to maintain the ecosystem and insect populations. Harvesting in the Incahuasi Valley is the latest in Peru due to its extremely high altitude and distinctly isolated climate in the south-west of Cusco.Bright and Nuanced SL9 Gesha Inca) variety from Eulogio Chipao with perfumed florals, tangerines, peach and lingering sweetness.
