Ce que dit la marque
Sweet and vibrant, lemonade-like natural-processed Kenyan SL28 & SL34, with notes of orange citrus, dark grapes, and honeysuckle, from Kamunyaka Coffee Factory and Iria-ini Farmers Cooperative Society. Filter coffee:Vibrant and jammy, with notes of dark grapes, sweet citrus, raspberries, and black tea. Espresso: Cappuccino/Flat white: The Producer:The Kamunyaka wet mill is located on the slopes of Mount Kenya in Nyeri County, Kenya. It is a part of the Iri-aini Farmers Cooperative Society, working with surrounding smallholder farmers who deliver their coffee cherries to the factory. Here they are depulped, fermented, washed, and then slowly dried on raised beds. The factory is known for processing high-quality Kenyan Arabica coffees, often from the SL28 and SL34 varieties, which are valued for their complex flavor profiles. This year, we are working with Kamunyaka Washing Station directly and representing both natural-processed and washed-processed lots. "Kamunyaka" translates to "place of luck" in the Kikuyu language, and they operates under the Iriaini Farmers' Cooperative. With an altitude of approximately 1800 masl, Kamunyaka benefits from a cooler microclimate and extended cherry maturation, resulting in dense beans and layered cup complexity. The site is known not only for its rigorous washed processing but also for its experimental approaches, including natural and anaerobic fermentation methods.Sweet and vibrant, lemonade-like natural-processed Kenyan SL28 & SL34, with notes of orange citrus, dark grapes, and honeysuckle, from Kamunyaka Coffee Factory and Iria-ini Farmers Cooperative Society.
