Ce que dit la marque

A sweet and chocolatey espresso with pleasant berry-like acidity. An aerobic-natural-processed Arara variety from the Andrade family, Minas Gerais.

Espresso: A chocolatey cup with toffee-like sweetness and notes of wild raspberries, black tea, and orange wine.

The Producer: Capim Branco from the Family Andrade is one of Brazil's oldest Estate Coffees, starting in 1901. The farm is located in Carmo do Paranaíba, High Cerrado, state of Minas Gerais, at an average altitude of 1.100 meters. It provides ideal conditions for growing coffee due to its perfect wet and dry seasons balance.

To produce high-quality coffees, the new generation of the Andrade family established their farms in this region during the '70s. They cultivate traditional varietals such as Catuaí Amarelo and new ones in our experimental field: Pacamara, Gesha, Catucaí-Açú, Arara, Paraíso, Acauã Amarelo, Catiguá-MG2, Catimor, Guará, Laurina, and Maragogipe. Combined with the region's natural conditions, the correct management of crops, crop planning, and post-harvest with selection criteria of cherries, grains, and natural drying, the results are excellent quality, award-winning beans appreciated worldwide.

In 1991 through the initiative of twelve producers, who envisioned the opportunities that investing in the quality of the coffee would bring, they founded the BSCA ( Brazil Specialty Coffee Association) that supports all small coffee producers in the region; not only that, it also helps producers improve quality, which enhances sustainability. Assisting producers to reach out to importers worldwide with eco-friendly coffee is another activity that BSCA performs.

Ismael and Eduardo founded an exporting company, meaning they have a direct relationship with their customers, sending their coffee from the origin on a Direct Trade basis.
