Ce que dit la marque

Fruity Classics A vibrant washed Bolivian coffee that brings together clarity, sweetness, and the kind of easy-drinking balance we keep coming back to. • Process: Washed • Variety: Caturra • Origin: Bolivia • Tasting Notes: Apple, Black Tea, Caramel Want this for filter? Luis Choquehuanca is one of the original producers involved in Agricafe’s Sol de La Mañana program, a long-term initiative focused on helping farmers improve both coffee quality and farm sustainability. Tucked high in the mountains outside Caranavi, Luis’ farm sits at the end of winding roads and steep climbs, but the journey is always worth it. His coffees are consistently some of our favourites coming out of Bolivia. We’ve been buying coffee from Luis for over seven years, and watching his farm grow alongside Monogram has been incredibly special. What started as a single hectare has expanded into more than seven hectares of thriving production. Over the years, Luis has planted new varieties, built a home for his family, and continued investing in the future of his farm. Every visit with Luis, his wife, and their two sons is full of coffee, laughter, and conversations about how cold Canada is and whatever’s happening in WWE at the moment. Luis’ approach to sustainability is rooted in making coffee farming viable for the long term. Through the Sol de La Mañana program, he has focused on improving plant health, replanting with varieties that thrive in the region, and building a productive, resilient farm that can support his family for years to come. It’s rewarding to see the impact firsthand, and even more rewarding to share his coffee year after year.
