Ce que dit la marque

A uniquely flavourful and complex coffee with impressive depth. Sweet blueberry leads the aromatics, unfolding into a rich macaron and vanilla sweetness that adds both texture and clarity. As a straight espresso, the cup reveals juicy cranberry note on the finish, bringing an additional layer to its creamy, composed profile.

Grown in the highland community of Chelbesa in Gedeb, this coffee comes from farms sitting between 1925–2110 masl, where cooler temperatures and rich volcanic soils shape its layered character. The cherries are delivered quickly—never more than 40 minutes from farm to washing station—allowing for immaculate processing and a remarkably clean cup.

The result is a complex, fruit-driven Ethiopian profile with depth and clarity. Its heavier body and rich macaron sweetness make it stunning with milk, where notes of berry and vanilla become even more indulgent. As a straight espresso, it stands confidently on its own—structured, expressive, and full of character.

This coffee is sourced through SNAP Coffee, founded in Addis Ababa in 2008 by Negusse D. Weldyes. SNAP operates multiple washing stations across Gedeo, Guji, and West Arsi, working closely with around 550 smallholder farmers per station. Their approach is rooted in three commitments: meticulous and consistent specialty-grade processing, hands-on training for farmers in best practices, and environmentally responsible systems such as waste recycling.

Beyond coffee quality, SNAP plays a significant role in supporting rural communities. They supply technological equipment to local schools, invest in building roads to improve access for remote farming areas, and are working toward establishing clinics to expand healthcare access for farmers and their families. Their work strengthens not only the coffee but the communities behind it.
