## Ce que dit la marque

> Product Description Producer Mike Mamo, Telia Washing Station Farm/Mill Smallholders in Yukro Village Cultivar Gibirinna 74110 & Serto 74112 Process Honey Location Yukro, Jimma Altitude 2000 masl Harvest March 2024 Expect notes of Peach, Apricot, Floral. Coffee Story Our second Ethiopian honey coffee of the season comes from Mike Mamo and the Telila CWS team. This is our first ever Honey processed coffee from Ethiopia and it does not disappoint. Expect super sweet and bright flavours of peach and apricot, with a creamy body and floral aromas. Delicious! In the 1970s, the Jimma Agricultural Research Center (JARC) developed heirloom coffee varieties Gibirinna 74110 and Serto 74112 to resist coffee berry disease. The “74” prefix denotes their selection year, 1974. 74110 was derived from a mother tree in Bishari village, Metu Province, Oromia. These trees are short and compact, with small leaves, cherries, and beans. Similarly, 74112, originating from the Metu-Bishari forest, was released in 1979 due to its high yield and disease resistance. Both varieties thrive in the local climate, with excellent cup quality. Unlike other washing stations in Ethiopia, Mike focuses on day lot separations and stores his parchment in Ecotact bags. These meticulous steps ensure the highest quality, which is evident in the exceptional cup quality of these Jimma lots. Additionally, for every pound of coffee purchased, our import partner Osito commit a $0.10 donation to Kacho Tulla Primary School in Kecho Anderacha village. This commitment not only supports education but also strengthens the relationship with the community, reflecting dedication to both quality coffee and social responsibility. Roast type We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method. That’s why, instead, we label our coffee based on the experience it brings to the cup. COFFEE EXPERIENCES UNIQUE & INTERESTING: Boundary-pushing coffee unlike anything you’ve tried before.
