Ce que dit la marque
We have funded four bridges at this co-op and will continue to fund more. We give 1% of all our revenue to this program with Asopep. In addition to this, we also paid them a social premium on the coffee we bought in 2025 of $4,500. We’ve bought from ASOPEP, in Planadas, since we began roasting. It has been a constant. They are well known for producing consistently high quality coffee. This is not just available as a single origin, "El Puente", but also makes up the bulk of our Kaleidoscope blend. Years ago we were made aware of infrastructure issues at the co-op at the beginning of our working relationship. After seeing images of the local children's dangerous river crossings to school each day we decided to donate 1% of every cent you spend with us in order to embark on a bridge building program. In 2024, Monka, our Q Grader, visited the co-op and got to meet the people who live there and see the bridges we funded first hand. This coffee means a lot to us and is suitable for all brewing methods. We really hope you enjoy it. Our tasting/cupping notes for this coffee come from our green coffee buyer, Monika. She'll always find at least 7 or 8 aromas, taste notes etc and then select the three she finds most pronounced to put on our bags. For this coffee she selected "Red Apple. Cocoa, Fudge".
