> In late 2025 we bid in the Best of Rwanda auction. This lot was the target. A coffee unlike anything we'd tasted from Rwanda. Also the highest scoring lot at 91.81 points. We bid all the way to the upper limit of our budget. Around 14 times the average price of Rwandan coffee. Luckily, no more bids came in. Welcome to quite literally the best coffee in Rwanda. Organically and regeneratively farmed at 2065masl in Huye under shade canopy by the team at K organics, this exceptional selection of RABC15 has been given the most careful treatment. Meticulous picking, sorting and cleaning leads to a 96hr anaerobic tank fermentation before slow, monitored drying under shade. Fragrant, fruity finesse—rose & musk aroma leads to a cocktail of peach, litchi, strawberry & pomegranate, with orange wine, candy floss & chocolate rounding off a cup of remarkable clarity and a thankfully endless finish. - Producer: Ignace Ndayahundwa of K Organics - Region: Southern Province, Huye District - Variety: RABC15 - Altitude: 2065masl - Cupping Score: 91.81
