Ce que dit la marque
Natural Heirloom Guji, Ethiopia When chatting with Faysel Abdosh, it became clear that he founded Testi Coffee with one goal in mind: specialty coffee exclusively. That’s the coffee he liked to drink, so that’s the coffee he wanted to produce. Over the years, this unrelenting pursuit of quality has resulted in some of our favorite expressions of Ethiopian coffee. Beyond just cup quality, Faysel is committed to projects that improve the lives of the people he works with. Through Testi Coffee’s Project Direct, Faysel and his family have led the construction of water points, classroom buildings, electricity access, and women’s health facilities across several coffee communities. Their approach sees coffee as a tool for development, not just trade. For us, working with Testi means supporting that vision and building a more sustainable, transparent supply chain rooted in mutual respect. This lot was processed at Testi’s Shakiso Hadeso washing station, located at high elevation in a cool, mountainous climate. The combination of volcanic soil, altitude, and slower cherry maturation contributes to the clarity and vibrancy of the cup. The coffee underwent traditional natural processing and drying on raised beds. The resulting profile is juicy, sweet, and lively, reminding us of mixed berries, lemonade, and florals. This coffee reflects the structured, fruit-forward characteristics associated with high-quality Guji lots and plays an important role in deepening our sourcing foundation in southern Ethiopia.
