Through the years, Soren’s Project has evolved from a blend to a single origin coffee. Now, as we continue to advance and refine our coffee program, we have re-worked this offering back into a blend. And the redevelopment process involved the very person the blend was originally named for: Soren FairchildWith the help of Soren and the Commonplace Coffee roasting team, Soren’s Project is comprised of coffee from the Grupo Mártir and Divino Niño cooperatives, located in Huila, Colombia. Their hard work has resulted in a sweet coffee with cherry notes as well as a malic, apple-like acidity. We are excited to share this signature blend that not only highlights these incredible producers but also Soren’s skill set and palate, which contributed to the continued story of this special coffee.Country Colombia Region La Plata & Suaza, Huila Producers Grupo Mártir, Divino Niño Altitude 1700-1850 masl Varieties Castillo, Colombia, Caturra Processing Washed Drying Parabolic Drying Soren’s Project was our first blend, named after Commonplace Coffee owners TJ and Julie Fairchild’s first-born child.
