We’re excited to introduce our newest offering, presented in collaboration with 91.3 WYEP. This blend was inspired by the WYEP team’s description of their organization: eclectic, unique, and funky. Proceeds from Mixtape Blend benefit WYEP. This is a blend of two coffees, the first of which comes from the Finca Corintio farm in Honduras. This washed process coffee is clean and balanced, with notes of plum, walnut, and lemon. The second blend component is a natural process coffee from Jorge Rojas in Colombia. It has a silky mouthfeel, with notes of strawberry, tropical fruit, and chocolate. The two components come together like an album with no skips, creating a sweet and citrus-forward cup. We taste notes of cranberry, cherry, stone fruit, and pomegranate. Since 1974, 91.3 WYEP has been Pittsburgh’s independent music source and a treasured cultural resource. On the air, online and in the community, WYEP champions musical discovery by supporting new and emerging artists. Listeners tune in to WYEP because of the passionate and dedicated music lovers who deliver a hand-crafted listening experience spanning a broad range of genres and styles. Learn more by visiting wyep.org or by finding them on social media. WYEP is supported in part by the taxpayers of Allegheny County through a public grant from the Allegheny Regional Asset District (RAD). RAD works here.
