The farm is in its third generation; managed by Wilfredo and his wife, Yubeli. The Ule-Trujillo family stands out among Colombian coffee producers through their innovation, passion, and focus on quality. Sustainability and continuous improvement is emphasised, with a large part of the farm powered by solar panels and a dedicated cupping lab to track how different processes and varieties perform over time. They run the farm as a family team, with Yubeli, Wilfredo, and their two children all involved in production. For Yubeli, this close family collaboration is key to both the smooth operation of Finca Alcatraz and the outstanding quality of the coffee that they produce.
