Roast Level: Medium Tasting Notes: Almond, Dark Chocolate, Blueberry

Butkus is dark, robust, and moody. It is like the Bordeaux of coffee - full mouthed and rich. Wanted to appeal to folks who wanted a bigger blend. Butkus puts the earth in “Earthy” with tad of blueberry up front with a deep rich hue of chocolate rounding out at the end. Traditional Espresso! Butkus is a blend of Indonesian, Central American, and African beans.

Named for Brutus Maximus Butkus (aka Sir-Poops-a-Lot), a 60 lb. English Bull Terrier that showed up at our back door at 6 a.m. His life was short but robust and full of flavor — just like our Butkus Blend.
