> The darkest roast you will find at Armeno, our Sumatra Mandheling beans are notably lower in acidity and when Italian roasted become heavily bodied, incredibly bold and to full caramelization. Taste the bean, not the burn is our motto and that's evident with our darkest roast. Sumatra Mandheling is one of the world's prized coffees, it is grown in the highlands of northern Sumatra in the Malay Archipelago of Indonesia. The plantations grow coffee trees at altitudes up to 5,000 feet and use a combination of wet and dry processing methods.
