Ce que dit la marque
The Bolivia Apolo comes to you from an indigenous community in Northern Bolivia, made up of 90% female farmers! When faced with the problem of coca plants taking all of the nutrients out of their soil, rendering it more and more impossible to grow other crops, the solution was to turn to growing coffee instead. This initiative, called "Cocaine for Coffee," has already contributed to a significant amount of ecological regeneration in the last five years. According to our friends at Cafe Kreyol, Bolivian coffee from this region "is quickly taking it’s place as one of the top coffees of Bolivia." Viennese (medium) roasted, light bodied, and low acid. Offers a bit more backbone than the light roast while still offering the same great notes of caramel, and chocolate with a smooth, creamy finish. The Bolivia Apolo comes to you from an indigenous community in Northern Bolivia, made up of 90% female farmers!
