We’ve been offering coffee from the Rodriguez family in Bolivia since 2011. This coffee, comes from the beautiful and verdant Samaipata, an emerging growing region near the country’s largest city, Santa Cruz, located at the foot of the Bolivian Andes.

14 years ago, the Rodriguez family recognized the potential of this region and planted the first specialty coffee farm here. It was a big risk, but it paid off - the distinct environment helped produce excellent coffee, and the family went on to establish three more farms and a wet mill in the region.

El Jardín is a sweet and abundantly floral coffee produced by Leo Hanso and his wife Jenny. We’ve been working with Leo for many years in their roles as Director of Coffee at Pergamino, our Colombian sourcing partner, so we are excited to celebrate this delicious Chiroso variety grown on his new farm in Santa Barbara.
