Deep in the forest of Peru we find Tito Cathay’s very own Garden of Eden. A tropical paradise where coffee plants meet a plethora of other plant and animal species thanks to Tito’s commitment to agroforestry.

Tito has spoiled us over the years with some truly fragrant and delicious geisha beans. Grown completely free from synthetic inputs under a well shaded canopy of trees, in harmony with birds, bees and Kataleya orchids.

This micro lot expresses everything we love about the finicky geisha variety. Delicate and floral with an impressive vibrancy, geisha is perhaps every coffee nerds first and one true love. Carefully handpicked, de-pulped and fermented. The result is a clean and expressive cup, with notes of pomelo, honey melon and the perfumed flowers of the geisha variety itself.

But beyond flavor, this coffee also shows what the Lykke Coffee project is all about. How, through agroforestry, we can transition towards more sustainable coffee production for both people and planet.
