We look for coffees with the inherent characteristics of deep chocolate, low acidity and plenty of body, then roast a little darker than the rest of our range, until the natural sugars brown to a dark caramel quality. This release comes entirely from La Prosperidad de Chirinos, a cooperative of more than 800 smallholders farming the hills around San Ignacio in northern Peru. Donna tastes robust and strong, but still allows the unique characteristics of our seasonal coffees to shine through. Roast type We don’t label our coffee as espresso or filter. Instead, for each coffee we create a unique roasting profile, designed to bring out the best flavours from its origin, farm and milling method.
