Key innovations include a state of the art irrigation system that ensures uniform cherry development while significantly reducing water waste. Sustainability is central to Matão’s identity. The team promotes biodiversity, prevents soil erosion, and utilises bio fuel from neighbouring Fazenda São Domingos. This commitment extends to the community, where 40 seasonal workers receive living wages and secure conditions. This lot isn’t your usual Brazilian coffee.
