- ### About El Cuarenteño | Mexico Grown at around 1,100 metres in Nayarit on Mexico's Pacific coast, El Cuarenteño comes from Grupo Terruño Nayarita, a group of producers working with a mix of Bourbon, Typica, Caturra and Catuai. During the December-to-April harvest, cherries are hand-sorted by floating and then processed at two small wet mills, Sandía and Rústico. There, the coffee is pulped, washed and then dried in the sun on patios built across a patchwork of connected rooftops and courtyards. It then travels to the El Duende dry mill in the town of Compostela, where it rests for 14 weeks before being cleaned, sorted and graded for export. Every lot is cupped and logged along the way, so the coffee can be traced from farm to mill. Tasting notes include plum, caramel and milk chocolate - ### Coffee Info **Tasting Notes:** Plum | Caramel | Milk chocolate **Processing Method:** Washed **Varietal:** **Importer:** DR Wakefield Our roastery is in Burgess Hill, West Sussex and all our coffee is roasted on our Loring Roaster.
