A smooth full mouthfeel carries notes of caramel, and dark chocolate throughout. Background: The ASOBRIS association was created in October 2014 by 25 associates in the regions of Planadas, Tolima and was registered in the chamber of commerce in October 2016. As of 2020 the association has 56 associates farming an area of nearly 600 hectares combined. The objective of these peasant families was to fight for a better price for their product, which they believe is of high quality for the region. Certifying with Fairtrade has enabled the producers to maintain cost premiums above the market, while adhering to better farming practices. Each associate producer is supported through farming practice education and fertiliser input. They are all responsible for working on the management of waste water and leachate into the surrounding land. To date 40% of the associate producers waste water production units have been implemented have residual water filter facilities accessible.
