Lo que dice la marca
Variety: SL28, SL34, Batian, Ruiru 11 Process: Washed Sourced by: Cafe Imports When I think of Kenyan coffees, all I can think is “POWERFUL.” More than any other coffees in the world, their flavor expression for me is loud, pleasantly bombastic, and one of refined confidence. There’s a very special moment a roaster experiences when they believe they’ve found their own ideal roast rendition of a coffee. For BOTZ, it’s when the acidity, sweetness, and body all combine for a lasting and resonant cup experience. Admittedly, BOTZ feels like it has good systems in place to find the ideal roast rendition of a coffee quickly. Kenyan coffees, however, always make you work extra. Notoriously explosive (for the RoR nerds out there), dense, and difficult to develop, a Kenyan coffee, we believe, necessitates a roasting strategy focused on perseverance and patience. After long meditative roasting sessions and much slurping, we’re ready for you to experience Gatomboya, the first BOTZ Kenya release in over a year. Its final roast rendition is explosive, confident, and inspiring. Gatomboya leads with a flavor sensation you can only experience with the traditional double-washed Kenyan process – intense and luscious cherry. In fact, your first sips might remind you of your favorite slice of cherry pie. You’ll also find spiced plums to be prominent with a touch of mulled wine flavor. The finish is huge and sweet, like an irresistible date. It’s the kind of coffee that’s flavor confidence will morph into your own confidence from the first sips to the last. If you are in need of a confidence and flavor jolt, brew Gatomboya. We promise it’s ready to change your mornings! ***Please note that coffee orders are roasted, processed, and shipped on Wednesdays. The cutoff for orders is 12:00 pm each Tuesday.***Variety: SL28, SL34, Batian, Ruiru 11 Process: Washed Sourced by: Cafe Imports When I think of Kenyan coffees, all I can think is “POWERFUL.” More than any other coffees in the world, their flavor expression for me is loud, pleasantly bombastic, and one of refined confidence.
