> Just as in late spring the flowers begin to arrive in full bloom, so does this Single Origin reflect the season—jammy, sweet, and playful. Introducing Ethiopia Mirado, a naturally processed Single Origin coffee grown, produced and exported through Daye Bensa Coffee — one of the major coffee exporting companies working in Ethiopia today. The Sidama region of Ethiopia is well known and praised for it’s coffee production due to favourable environmental factors, and this Mirado lot has benefited greatly from such conditions. As a naturally processed coffee, this coffee brings something a little different compared with washed coffees from the same origin. Jammy sweetness also brings a fruity character, and paired with milk, it leans into a peaches and cream-like texture that perfectly highlights this coffee’s fruity elements. About Daye Bensa Daye Bensa is also well known as one of the major coffee exporting companies in Ethiopia; exporting green coffee directly from its own farms & stations, along with the coffee of affiliated farmers. What began as a family business to support one farm has now become an incredibly successful business helping many other coffee producing families within the coffee-growing region of Sidama.
