It was introduced by the association in 2016, sourced from the farm of Mr. Eko in Indonesia. This variety has a distinctly strong character with dense branches and leaves, tall and robust trees, bronze-tipped new growth, and elongated red cherries. It carries a remarkably prominent white floral flavor profile, leading some to call it Sunda Typica, though to avoid confusion, it has been officially named SCATH01. Ader has cultivated SCATH01 from the very beginning, and for this lot, he has chosen to process it using the Natural (dry) method and delivering a cup that evokes salak (snake fruit), fruit jelly, rose, and butterfly lily.
