> Zoom Zoom Zoom Guatemala Las Moritas A fresh arrival from Guatemala Price: Sale price$25.00 Sold out Description Las Moritas is the distinguished farm of Higinio and Aura Gómez. Located northeast of Guatemala City in the Sierra de las Minas, Las Moritas has been the source of some of our favorite coffees over the years. This lot, produced in collaboration with Los Volcanes, is from an exceptional harvest of a variety they are calling "nance," recently uncertain whether it is actually yellow catuaí or yellow caturra. In a round, balanced cup, we're tasting brown sugar and molasses, ginger cookie, warm spice, pineapple, pear, and orange zest. Purchase options Sold out Roast Level: Light Tasting Notes: Pineapple, Brown Sugar, Cola Process: Washed * * * Coffee Specs Finca Las Moritas was established in 1988 when Don Higinio and Doña Aura purchased their first plot of land, naming it San José Las Moritas. The farm is located in the department of El Progreso and within the broader region known as the Sierra de las Minas, a rugged mountain range containing everything from desert scrublands to montane cloud forests. Today Las Moritas occupies 70 hectares of land with impressive elevations reaching 1,800 meters...
