What the Brand Says

All senses agree that this is a special coffee AROMA NOTES: Caramel, Fresh Baked Scone FLAVOR NOTES: Light Milk Chocolate, Candied Orange, Sweet Cinnamon Roll When we opened our first big burlap bag of this coffee, all senses agreed that this was something special. The fresh aromas, the jade green color, the size and consistency of the beans… all gave us a feeling that we are in rarified territory of coffee harvested with love. Picking only red ripe coffee cherries by hand and an rigorous sorting protocol results in this coffee that practically roasts itself. This is roasted a subtle 3 degrees F beyond where we bring our gold-standard Guatemala to bring in the sweet richness that comes with just a tiny bit more development. Beautiful. It doesn’t need a drop of cream but will stand up to a big fat splash of whatever makes your coffee yours. We love this coffee so much that it has gone from a seasonal coffee to a year-round staple. So good. The only ingredient in our coffee is coffee. Always and forever. We add nothing and the flavor notes are just the magic already in the bean that we tease out through meticulous roasting. ROAST: Medium VARIETALS: Tabi, Caturra and Bourbon Amarillo PROCESS: Washed, 16 hour fermentation, Sun Dried REGION: Quindio, Colombia 1600MASL ETHICS: This sustainable coffee is sourced from family farms with a multi-generational history. NEW ART July 2026 Check out the new art label by Penelope Benavidez! We love this coffee so much that it has moved from a seasonal offering to a core offering. So we bumped up the design from my hack-of-a-design to a beautiful art piece. The intent of the art is to capture the feeling when you’re on a road trip in the early morning twilight and spy the glow of a welcoming diner sign. This Colombian coffee comes from Women-Owned family farm and we’re solidly impressed with the quality. It’s evident when in the roaster that a lot of care went into picking, sorting, fermenting and drying. The owner, Fabiola, takes care of the coffee with the help of her children and grandchildren. This is exactly the kind of people we seek out to support. We’re grateful to have discovered them. “So delicious! Trailhead has dialed it in yet again.” -Jeffrey All senses agree that this is a special coffee AROMA NOTES: Caramel, Fresh Baked Scone FLAVOR NOTES: Light Milk Chocolate, Candied Orange, Sweet Cinnamon Roll When we opened our first big burlap bag of this coffee, all senses agreed that this was something special.
