What the Brand Says

Our newest small batch filter coffee comes to you from the "Guayabina" farmstead of Roy Hernández, in Honduras. This is a Parainema coffee, finished with a natural and anaerobic fermentation. A bright, fruit forward filter coffee singing with sweetshop flavours. Strawberry laces and jolly ranchers at the fore, a little bit of summer nostalgia in your cup. That said, you may have noticed our most recent small batch roast from the "El Piñalito" plot of Rosa Romero... a natural, anearobic Parainema from... Honduras. At first glance, there are some clear overlaps, but that's not where it ends. Roy is Rosa's son. This makes his produce the result of three generations of passionate, considered cultivation. Like his mother and her father before, Roy has invested a lot of his efforts on washed coffee, but he still makes a point to produce natural coffees and some small quantities of carefully tended anaerobic batches of his coffee. Despite these deep connections, the end result of the coffees speaks to the ways that a producers approach can bring alternative characters from the same core elements. ** COFFEE INFO** Taste notes: Strawberry Laces & Jolly Ranchers Farm: Guayabina Producer: Roy Hernández Varietals: Parainema Process: Anaerobic Natural MASL: 1250 (Metres Above Sea Level) Sold Out? Next batch available from next Friday.
