Under the management of Luis's son, Olman, the farm has flourished, earning accolades in competitions like the Cup of Excellence. Most recently, Finca Buenos Aires secured 7th place with a natural Maracaturra in the 2024 Cup of Excellence, while its sister farm, Los Alpes, took 1st place with a natural Geisha. Maracaturra is a rare variety resulting from a cross between Maragogipe and Caturra, from which it inherits its large bean size and compact growth, respectively.
