## What the Brand Says

> Thageini Wet Mill is one of four mills operated by the Aguthi Farmer's Co-operative Society in Nyeri County. The station works with around 450 member producers, while the wider cooperative supports approximately 2,000 members with training in farm management, harvesting, sorting and agronomy. Project Origin has worked with the cooperative since 2017, later supporting carbonic maceration infrastructure and new drying beds at Thageini. For the Simba lot, ripe SL28 and SL34 cherries are wrapped in cocoons on raised beds for four days of aerobic fermentation. They are then spread, regularly turned and slowly dried for 25-30 days before being stored in dried cherry pods until milling and export. Project Origin selects the final coffee with Thageini for its Signature Supernatural profile.
