What the Brand Says
SUPER FRUITY ADVENTURES A juicy Colombian Caturra with tropical fruit flavours and a chocolatey finish. • Process: Natural • Variety: Red Caturra, Yellow Caturra • Origin: Colombia • Tasting Notes: Guava, Pineapple, Chocolate Want this for filter? El Vergel Guava Banana brings a little sunshine to your daily brew. Grown by Elias and Shady Bayter at El Vergel Estate in Fresno, Tolima, this natural Red and Yellow Caturra is full of juicy tropical fruit, with a chocolatey sweetness that keeps you coming back for another sip. This lot has a story of its own. Wild guava trees shade the coffee where it grows, while “Banana” is a playful nod to a mispronunciation of guanábana, the South American fruit also known as soursop. A memorable name for a very memorable coffee. Behind all that fruit flavour is some careful work. Ripe cherries ferment without oxygen for 48–60 hours before drying in stages, first on raised beds and then in temperature-controlled dryers. A final 45-day rest rounds out the process, giving this bright, expressive coffee plenty of time before its moment in your cup.SUPER FRUITY ADVENTURES A juicy Colombian Caturra with tropical fruit flavours and a chocolatey finish. • Process: Natural • Variety: Red Caturra, Yellow Caturra • Origin: Colombia • Tasting Notes: Guava, Pineapple, Chocolate Want this for filter?
